Nikki launched ‘Nikki Mitchell’ several years ago, initially providing brow and beauty treatments along with makeup for special events like weddings and formals. Nikki built her reputation largely due to her unique abilities and desire to let her creativity shine through her work, where she aspires to make every client feel beautiful in their skin. Nikki doesn’t have a signature look, whether it be for makeup or brows, instead she allows each individual clients features inspire her creative direction. It is this commitment to the art of beauty that ensures each and every client leaves looking their absolute best, while maintaining their individuality and appeal.

After forging a solid reputation as one of the best makeup artists in the industry and being booked out with modelling agencies, advertising clients, A-listers and for special television events, Nikki turned her hand to creating products that would fill a gap she had found in the marketplace. Nikki experienced troublesome skin and couldn’t find anything on the market that would help her take care of her skin which would often breakout and flare up. After applying makeup for countless models, Nikki found that many of them were in the same situation, and this inspired her to create beauty products that would be gentle, effective and affordable. After much trial and error, Nikki launched her Nikki Mitchell Skin Range which has been so well received in the market as the products deliver exactly what Nikki set out to achieve. 

 After experience such rapid and exciting growth within the skin care range, Nikki was searching for another challenge. As an ambitious entrepreneur, Nikki is always looking for opportunities to grow her brand, so she looked to solve another beauty problem she was having with tanning formulas. As a busy mum, Nikki hated sitting around in a tan for hours waiting for it to develop, while the actual colour of the tans also left a lot to be desired. Nikki found that as she switched between brands she would find she was either too orange or green and none of the products on the market could really emulate that perfect, natural golden glow that she would get after spending time in the sun. Again, after much trial and error, Nikki came up with the ultimate tanning formula that offered a natural consistent colour and to take it up a notch she even developed a formula that has since become world famous, which is the 15 minute tan. Demand for Nikki’s 15-minute tan skyrocketed in popularity, with Gold Coast locals, right through to international celebrities all raving about the results they were getting without the downtime or the fuss. Nikki’s tanning products have since featured on Channel 7, 9 and can be spotted on glowing A-listers at the Hollywood award seasons.

Nikki says, 'I am passionate about what I do. Makeup is an artform to me where I get to accentuate people's own natural beauty, making them feel confident and comfortable, while my products are all made to fill a void in the market that I myself have experienced. I have created a range that is high quality, easy and convenient and perfect for everyday Aussies going about their normal day through to celebrities as they hit the red carpet. I think we all deserve that little bit of glam in our everyday lives!'

Nikki has now released an entire range of skin, tanning, makeup and beauty products that are 100% Australian made and importantly are vegan, paraben and peg free, gluten free and not tested on animals. Nikki is committed to creating luxurious products that are safe and affordable and leave your skin feeling amazing.

While Nikki has shot to success with her product range which you can buy online or selected salons, she still actively treats clients for brows and tanning in her salon and is available for special occasions for makeup between Brisbane and Byron Bay.
